As one of the largest blogging competitions in history, we were absolutely amazed to have 1,173 participants, from all over the globe, take part in the Big Blog Exchange this year. Our 16 winners have been chosen, and their exchange destinations have been revealed – but all is not yet over.

The online blogging community that the project created has been phenomenal and we’d love to still have you on board, participating in discussions and providing travel tips like you have all been doing already. With so many creative, passionate and talented bloggers involved in the project, we wanted to open up the floor and ask whether you would like to write a guest post for us based on your hometown being a worldwide inspiration.

So, if you think your hometown is inspiring and should be shared with the world, please let us know – as we’d love to have you write your very own post on the Hostelling International blog, detailing why you think so.

If you would like to participate in the BBE Guest Post Journey, email us here

We look forward to hearing from you!

We are in Port Elizabeth South Africa. It’s referred to as “the windy city’ and “the friendly city” We are part of the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro. 1.5 million people inhabit our city. we are home to General Motors, Bridgeastone/Firestone Tires and General/Continental Tires. We export about 1000 Volkswagen R/H Drive Polos cars per month and all the Rocam and Puma Ford engines built. Just outside Port Elizabeth is Coega the new deep water port.

The whole experience has been excellent so far, I am really looking forward to being a part of this exchange! I wish congrats to all the participants and winners!
