Igloofest is a winter festival centred on electronic music which takes place every year in Montreal, Quebec.
Hot atmosphere, icy decor, and a lineup featuring some of the moment’s finest local and international DJs. Each year Igloofest gathers thousands of electronic music fans for 9 nights in the dead of winter to celebrate at the Quays of the Old Port of Montreal.
The only event of its kind during the Montreal winter, Igloofest poses a challenge that the organizers have pulled off with exceptional success for five years running, bringing together nearly 59,000 people in 2011 up from only 4,000 in its first year. For the 6th year, Igloofest on the Quays will take over the Jacques-Cartier Pier for 9 evenings of pure wintry, festive fun on January 12-13-14, 19-20-21, 26-27 and 28, 2012!
Set against a backdrop of ice and steel, Igloofest’s punchy video and architectural scenography, igloo village, and ski suit competition complete the operation whose unique concept makes it one of the trendiest events in the city and one of the most visible in Canada.
