HI recognises the importance of this and provides a platform for women to venture out into the world confidently. Celebrating Women: Hosting Women’s Groups
In addition to empowering women to travel, HI are proud to support groups of women who love to explore. YHA England and Wales regularly host groups with Outdoor Adventure Girls – an outdoor community providing safe and inclusive environments for women to reconnect with nature and the outdoors, through local meetups, weekend getaways, international trips and training days.
Their mission is to create a safe and inclusive environment for women to feel confident outdoors, connect with other like-minded women, and challenge the lack of representation of women in the outdoor space. They are passionate about mental health and the huge burden women carry throughout life, giving them the time to recharge, reset, and become their authentic selves when they attend their trips.
