Earlier this week Sydney Central YHA was awarded Gold at the prestigious Accommodation Association of Australia (AAA) Awards in the Best Backpacker accommodation category. The AAA is a national organisation for the accommodation industry that represents the very smallest operators to the largest hotel chains throughout Australia. This is an excellent achievement for a hostel that is well used to receiving awards for excellence and achievements.

Earlier this year Sydney Central YHA scored a hat-trick by winning Australia’s Best Backpacking Accommodation for the third year running at the Australian Tourism Awards. These three wins in a row now qualify the hostel to be entered into the Tourism Awards Hall of Fame, reserved only for historic hat-trick winners. These awards are the tourism industry’s biggest and most prestigious event of the year.
