This was a fantastic summer for the UK music scene, YHA and hostelling.
The Intermission Project, one of the UK’s most exciting, unsigned bands, joined YHA for a road trip of a lifetime. Setting off from London, the band and Rosie (the coolest VW van) weaved their way across South England for seven days. The talented fellas (Jim, Alex and Charlie) stayed at five YHA hostels, took part in adrenaline fuelled activities and played live sessions at three stunning YHA locations.
It’s true that for budget travelers Scandinavia is not on top of their destination list simply because of the high cost of most of the cities. However, visiting Copenhagen does not have to be reserved for the well off. Budget travelers can also enjoy the city and will be won over by the city’s secret money-saving options.
