It’s day four and the bloggers trips are in full swing! Already, most of them have explored one (or more) cities in their exchange country and are starting to settle in to the new timezone. Lots of the bloggers have written a full blog post about the trip so far, complete with lots of images (some of which we will share below) so make sure you check them all out on the wall – here.

Audur Osp from Iceland (blogging from Israel)

Audur spoke on Ali’s blog today about contemplating converting to food blogging – because all she’s done since arriving in Israel is trial the delicious food on offer. She says that vegetarians would be in their element there, because a lot of the dishes are not centered around meat – but other flavorsome ingredients.

One of her favourite discoveries so far (along with New Media director Anat) is hummus.

And, despite initial reservations – Audur is really beginning to enjoy her trip! She says:

“I have to say that Jerusalem has surprised me. I didn’t expect to like it nor did I think I would feel short for time during my visit. To be honest I didn’t really know what to expect and sometimes uncertainty brings out sides of me I really wished would never rear their ugly heads. I’m glad I didn’t give up this amazing opportunity like I was contemplating for a while and am thankful that the world (and the Big Blog Exchange of course) has brought me here. Controversies and all.”

Ali Karp from Israel (blogging from Iceland)

Ali has been enjoying Iceland so far, including a visit to Iceland’s famous Blue Lagoon! Wow – we’re jealous!

My Blue Lagoon Memory - Blue Lagoon Iceland

She recently blogged about her experiences at the Geothermal pool (where the water is milky because it is shaped by the silica mineral). You can catch up with that here.
